Bracelet Hook

  • FortyOne: Local Art Market 41 Victoria Street East New Tecumseth, ON, L9R 1T3 Canada (map)

Do you love wearing bracelets, but always need a second pair of hands to get one on? Are fingers getting in the way of putting on a fine clasp? Why not make a bracelet hook to simplify the process!

In this tutorial, you will learn a fun wire weaving technique as you create your own bracelet hook. This bracelet hook will work on any clasps that has a ring at one end. Don’t forget to bring along a bracelet so you can practice using the hook before you leave.

Some wire work experience is recommended, but not required.

The class kit includes all the wire.

Tools you will need for the class - flush cut pliers, smooth pliers (chain, needle, bent, or flat nose), ruler, round nose pliers (or bail making pliers). A limited number of these tools will be available to borrow during the class. As we will be working with fine wire, please bring visual aids (glasses, magnifiers etc), if you need them.

Come join me on August 26 from 10:30am to 12:30pm to make your own bracelet hook. Pre-registration for this workshop can be made in store at FortyOne in Alliston or online.
